She was predeceased by: her husband William Dennis "Dennie" Barker; and her parents, Wiley Martin and Lucille Thomas Martin. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Wolfe of Mount Sidney and Christy Bise (Danny) of Marion; her granddaughter Abby Bise of Marion; and her pets, Biscuit and Sebastian.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, D.C. 20037, or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Chicago, IL 60611, or to a charity of your choice.
