He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Howard Dolinger and Ruby St. John Dolinger; his wife Barbara Jane Owens Dolinger; and his brother-in-law Johnny Dollyhigh. He is survived by: his sister Lenda Dolinger Dollyhigh; his niece Julia Lenn Golding; his nephew Jonathan C. Dollyhigh; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, J. Michael, Robert, Anna Dollyhigh and Amber Golding.
