She was predeceased by: her parents, Reaves L. Rowland and Myrtle Matheson Rowland; her husband James W. Pickle; her brothers, Rex A. Rowland, Burl L. Rowland, Harold D. Roland, Sr. and T. J. Rowland; and her son-in-law Gary Wayne Phibbs.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Pickle Phibbs of Chilhowie; her sister Joan Rowland Crockett (Tom) of Virginia Beach; her sister-in-law Brenda Wright Rowland of Marion; and her cousin Novella Gibbs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
