He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Tilson and Martha Taylor Tilson; and his brother-in-law Leonard Hamm. He is survived by: his children, Tina Delp and Jessie Tilson (Nicki); his siblings, Richard "Dickie" Tilson (Connie), Connie Rosenbaum (Sammy) and Susan Hamm; his grandchildren, Cody Sumner (Whitney), Kayla Delp, Noah Whitlow and Jagger Tilson; and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Wyatt, Cora Sumner, Oaklynn Whitlow and Kash Delp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel (938 N Main St, Marion, VA 24354).
