She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Turley and Mabel Gates Turley; her brother Lewis Turley, Jr.; and her grandson Walter "Tuck" Tilson. She is survived by: her children, Linda Crockett (David) of Bristol, TN, Christine Furches (Jim) of Abingdon, VA and Arthur Tilson of Winchester, VA; her siblings, Oneda Poston, Marion, Shirley Yoe of Oxford, PA, Jerry Turley (Linda) of Yorktown, VA, Abney Turley, Kathleen Copenhaver (Robert) of Sugar Grove, VA, Jimmy Turley (Sally) of Newport News, VA, Billy Turley (Angie) of Jonesville, VA, Howard Turley (Marie) and Kathy Pennington (Dale) of West Jefferson, NC; her grandchildren, Dylan Crocket (Caitie) and Ashley Tilson of Cumberland, MD; and her great grandchildren, Destiny, Gabrielle, Christopher, Cory, Emmi, Everett and Eli. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
