He was predeceased by: his parent Dunn Hancock; his sons, Kenneth Wayne Hancock and Christopher Winton Hancock; and his siblings, Charles Ellis Hancock and Geneva Stowers.
He is survived by: his parent Pearl Hayton Hancock; his wife Shelia Davidson Hancock of Marion; his daughter Lynn Hancock Young of Crockett; his son-in-law John of Crockett; his sister Marie McLean of Fredericksburg; and his brother-in-law Larry McLean of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
