He is survived by: his wife Jessica James Edwards; his mother Zetta Hicks (Norman Anderson); his children, Dalton Edwards, Isaac Edwards, Eddie Edwards, Jr., Levi Edwards, Maverick Edwards and Isabella Edwards; his grandson Gauge Edwards; his parents-in-law, Melissa Parks and Rick James; his siblings, Chad Hicks (Anna), Shena Stamper (Michael), Emily Moro (Louis), Jeannie Hicks, Bo, Dawn Sheets (Mark), Robin Evans (Michael), Rachel Beaty and Billy; and his close friend Brian Hayes. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
