With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Briggs Bauman of Marion, Virginia, born in Porterville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 28, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Briggs and Maggie Smith Briggs; her husband Frank Bauman; and her siblings, Tom, Kenneth, Odessa, Jerry, Grace Briggs, Versia B. McConnell, Thelma B. McConnell and Doris B. Aust.
She is survived by: her children, John Bauman (Ginny), Ken Bauman (Karen), Dr. Briggs Bauman (Beth) and Mary Beth Bauman Graham (Tom). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
