She was predeceased by: her parent Hampden Aulick Burke; her brother-in-law James Herman Brant; and her nephew Aulick Burke Rucker. She is survived by: her husband Henry Hester Brant of Marion; her daughters, Katherine Brant Manning (William David Manning, Sr.) of Lynchburg and Elizabeth Brant Songer of Boise, Idaho; her grandchildren, William David Manning, Jr. (Alice) of Shelby, N. C., Simeon Brant Manning (Cassie) of Burlington, N. C., Katherine Grace Manning of Lynchburg, Aulick Ford Songer of Boise, Idaho and John Henry Songer of Boise, Idaho; her sister Pamela Burke Rucker (Dale) of Roanoke; her niece Elizabeth Evans Rucker of Richmond; her sister-in-law Caroline Walker Brant; and her niece Rosemary Brant Hancock (David) of Wytheville.
