He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Bus" Umbarger and Ruth Umbarger; and his stepson Chris Lasley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Riffey Umbarger; his brothers, Allen Umbarger (Janie) of Emory, VA and Roger Umbarger (Betty) of Marion, VA; his siblings-in-law, Princess McCracken (Wayne) of Chilhowie, VA, Mona Debord (Duane) of Hoffman, IL and Tim Riffey (Della) of Blanding, UT; and his close friends, Linda, Kenneth Moses, David Lallathin, Helen Holman, Edith and Bill Reynolds. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
