He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Kilby and Loretta Kilby; and his brother Keith Kilby. He is survived by: his children, Kim Kilby of Abingdon and Chris Kilby (Jana) of Glade Spring; his sister Brenda Cress (Roger "Porkie"); his grandchildren, Jeremy Greer (Bailey) and Gracie Hammond; his great grandchild Jordan Dotson; and his close friend Lynn Sawyers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver Brown Funeral Service & Crematory (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
