He is survived by: his wife Carol Roberts; his grandmother Lettie Myers of Rich Valley; his children, Katie Buchanan of Chilhowie, Kimmie Buchanan of Rich Valley and Sami Buchanan of Rich Valley; his grandchildren, Mason, Marshall and Rylee; his brother Charles "Chuck" Buchanan; and his aunt Melissa Myers.
