She was predeceased by: her mother-in-law Donna Martin; and her brother-in-law Shannon Martin. She is survived by: her husband Jason Martin; her children, Matthew Martin, Gabby Pritchett, David Scarfano II, Aaron Wood, Brandon Cox, Coby Cox and Allen Compton; her close friends, Meranda Harris, Bev Cason and Sherry Reedy; her caregiver Judy Hess; and also Hadassah.
Barbara made several generous donations including several phones and a washing machine to the Hadassah Home.
