It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Lee Irwin (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on September 25, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Earl and Wilmonth Vann Irwin of Columbia Furnace; his brother Bobby Irwin, Sr; his half-brother Lindy Welch; his wife Marion McKenzie Irwin; his children, Douglas Earl Irwin and Debra Irwin Davis (Michael); his grandchildren, Ashlyn Davis Trant (Reuben), Michael William Davis, Jr (Ashley) and Megan Davis Miller (Joshua); and his nieces and nephews, Bobby Irwin, Jr., Davy Vann, Jimmy Vann, Glenda Vann and Linda Gochenour.
In lieu of flowers and food, the family is requesting donations be made to the Mt. Jackson Rescue Squad in his memory.
