It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Algie Gray Crouse of Marion, Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Fox and William A. Crouse; his wife Patsy Pickle Crouse; and his brothers, James W. Crouse (June), Elmer Crouse (Evelyn), Raymond Crouse (Arkey) and Arnold I. Crouse (Virginia).
He is survived by: his nieces, Estelle Bluhm of Chattanooga, Tenn and Vicky Smith of Callaway; and his nephew William Crouse (Joyce) of Troutville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the Crouse-Wassum Family Cemetery (1186 Wassum Valley Rd, Marion, VA 24354).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, Va. 24354.
