She was predeceased by: her parents, Thursa Dotson and Dale Carter Vanover; her husband Robert Stacy Lockhart; and her siblings, Cline Vanover, Kyle Vanover and Royce Vanover.
She is survived by: her children, Derick Scott Lockhart, Sherrie Elaine Lockhart-Smith, Terry Wayne Lockhart (Mary Mbeng) and Cindy Elisa Tompkins (John Michael); her grandchildren, Dana Sue Hamil, Jason Carter Lockhart, Stacey Ann Jacques, Wendy Marie Jacques, Frazier Frank Wayne Smith, Nevaeh Stacey Ann Lockhart, Matthew John Tompkins and Joshua Scott Tompkins; and her siblings, Lynn Vanover, Carolyn Knicely and Lee Vanover. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Clintwood-Colley Funeral Home (202 McClure Ave, Clintwood, VA 24228).
