She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lelan Carr and Fannie Elizabeth Savage Carr; and her siblings, Harold Carr, Rosemary Carnes and Melba Jean Carr.
She is survived by: her husband Maury Gerson; her daughters, Suzanne Salvo and Cindy Szwarckop (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Eryn Szwarckop, Vincent Salvo and Mia Salvo.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110).
