Max Lee Vanpelt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2025, Max Lee Vanpelt (Manassas, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vanpelt and Velma Vanpelt; his brother Ray Vanpelt; and his son-in-law Ed Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Fran; his daughters, Lisa (Bill Muras) and Jennifer (Yancee McLemore); his grandchildren, Sam, Adeline, Norah Muras, Bridget Villalobos (Carlos) and Logan McLemore; his great grandchild Isaac Villalobos; his brothers, Dave Vanpelt (Debby) of Fayetteville, NC and Harry Vanpelt (Sharon) of Kannapolis, NC; and his sister-in-law Christine Vanpelt of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hills Lutheran Church (4090 Sudley Rd, Haymarket, VA 20169).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Max's name to the Virginia Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association or Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
