It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Townsend (Manassas, Virginia), born in Warrenton, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother John Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Laura Townsend (Elizondo); his children, Santana and Maya; his mother Jane Helsel; his stepfather Gary; his father Richard Townsend; his stepmother Candace; his brother Mark Townsend (Maureen); his nephew Jack; his brother Charles Townsend (Tiffany); his nieces and nephews, Reese, Cullen and Cecelia; his sister-in-law Susie; his nieces and nephews, Alex, Nathan, Abby, Theo, Luke and Caroline; and his grandmother Jean Townsend. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and a long list of loyal best friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center (10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, VA 20110). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
