He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Ruth Knott Dunbar and Douglas Winnard Dunbar; and his brothers, Charles Dunbar and Richard Dunbar. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dunbar; his daughter Wendy Garrett; his son-in-law Hilton Garrett (Timothy); his grandchildren, Alana Garrett, Victoria Garrett (Tory) and Timothy Garrett; his great grandchild Colton Frederick Clifford; his siblings, Betty Reynolds and Billy Dunbar; and his half-brother Ken Grogan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pierce Olde Towne Funeral Home (9320 West St., Manassas, VA 20110). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the National Memorial Park (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042).
