With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John William Mitchell of Manassas, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his sister Pamela Janet Mitchell; and his nephews, Jonathan DiLuciano (Jon Jon) and James Edward Bennet III. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Mitchell (Scearce); his sister Barbara Diluciano; and his children, Alana Joan Mitchell and Jason DiLuciano.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110).
