He was predeceased by : his parents, Stewart MacPherson and Frances Kibler MacPherson; and his brother Donnie MacPherson. He is survived by : his wife Teresa Drazdowsky; his daughter Kristin Barger (Evan); his grandchildren, Jack and Jane; his niece Kimberley Palmisano (Dan); and his nephew Todd MacPherson (Amy).

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (14113 Fleetwood Dr, Nokesville, VA 20181).
