He was predeceased by: his father Gerald "Jerry" E. Edelblute II. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy L. Edelblute (Martin); his significant other Apryle (Shaffer); his sons, Matthew (Mary) of Manassas, VA and Christopher of Richmond, VA.; and his pet Loki.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center (10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
