As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Elton may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Dorothy Marie Barbee (Posey); and his grandson Craig Pruden. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Barbee (Hoffman). He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren; Eighteen great grandchildren; and the second love of his life.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stonewall Memory Gardens (12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, VA 20109). A repast was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110).
