She was predeceased by: her parents, Rocco DiGioacchino and Aminta DiGioacchino; her husband James A. McConnell; her son James P. McConnell; and her siblings, Rocco, Josephine and Lisabetta.
She is survived by: her daughters, Louise Bailey (Robert), Sheila McConnell (Gary Whalen) and Maureen McConnell (Linda Eastburn); her grandchildren, Teresa, Robert (Ludmila) and Alexis Bailey; her great grandchild Mark Gregory; and her sisters, Madeline O'Connor and Theresa Panunto.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (9300 Stonewall Rd, Manassas, VA 20110). A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home, Inc. (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808).
