He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian C. Burgess Roberts and Willard Issac Roberts, Sr. (Octevia Herring Roberts); and his brothers, Adrian Lee Roberts, Bruce Raymond Roberts and Junior Wampler.
He is survived by: his children, Willard I. Roberts, III and Rose Marie Apple; his significant other Mary Wampler; and his siblings, Rhonda Ann Knotts, Betty Sue Dinnges, Charles Burgess Roberts and James Gary Roberts, Sr.. He is also survived by her 6 children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
