It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Scott of Manassas Park, Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard White Scott and Mary Gertrude Scott; his brothers, Roy, Howard, Bill, James and Millard W. Scott; and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Callahan Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Gracie L. Scott; his sons, Richard E. Scott (Susan Hawn) and Raymond L. Scott; his siblings, Donald Scott (Susan) of Fredericksburg, VA and Delores Durham of Bedford Virginia; his sister-in-law Bonnie Scott of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Ricky Scott, Amanda Scott, Brittany Scott, Jacob Scott, Kaiden Hasken, Tosha Gracie Leigh Rice, Ashley Hale, Amber Goins and Desire Scott. He is also survived by 15 GREAT grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation or American Lung Association in Richard Scott's name, honoring his memory.
