He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Hoyett Wilbanks and Frankie Davis Wilbanks; his brothers, Wayne (Dora Wilbanks), James (Janie Wilbanks) and Randall Wilbanks (Ramp); and his son Charles Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Lisa Wilbanks of Front Royal, VA and Calvin Wilbanks of Nokesville, VA; his granddaughter Gwen Wilbanks of Nokesville, VA; his siblings, Juanita Beard of Byhalia, MS, Neal (Beth Wilbanks) of Ripley, MS and Hilda (Edwin Shelton) of Ripley, MS; and also Jean Wilbanks of Ripley, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
