She was predeceased by: her mother Edith L. Young Chenoweth; her husband John W. Moore; her son John C. Moore; and her granddaughter Sonya Moore. She is survived by: her children, Jeanne E. Lawson, William D. Moore (Laurie), James B. Moore, Alice L Golladay (Brian), Mary M. Moore and Jay W. Moore (Glenda). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the National Memorial Park (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Speaks charity (autismspeaks.org) in Alice's honor.
