She was predeceased by: her parents, Brownie Nuckols and Corine Nuckols; and her sister Maggie Johnson. She is survived by: her husband George Alvis Jr.; her children, Debbie Dunlavey (Donald), Phyllis Henley (Merton), Dennis Alvis (Betsy) and Randy Alvis (Cindy); her grandchildren, Jason Dunlavey (Parker), Erin Henley, Michael Dunlavey (Harli), Thomas Henley (Rachel), Callie Carter (Scott), Brett Alvis, Peyton Dunlavey (Ashley), Adam Henley (Maryanne), Georgie Alvis, Emmy Alvis and Hannah Molnar; her great grandchildren, George Albert Raylan Henley and Josie Caroline Dunlavey; and her siblings, Virginia Nuckols and Frank Faudree (Janet).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centerville Fire and Rescue Co. 3 or Goochland Baptist Church.
