He was predeceased by: his wife Murriel Cawthon; and his sister Janet Anderson. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Cawthon Deane; his son-in-law Allen Deane; his grandchildren, Caleigh and Jordan Deane; and his siblings, Joan Cawthon and Karl Utley.
