He is survived by: his wife Juanita Whorton Haynes; his sons, Jerry Thomas Haynes, Jr. (Madelynn) of Madison, Andrew Mark Haynes (Melody) of Madison and Justin Travis Haynes of Madison; his sister Susan Dodson of Culpeper; and his grandchildren, Hailey Jenkins, Shaelyn Haynes, Delilah Lewis, Ethan Haynes and Natalie Timmons.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home (59 Edgewood School Ln, Madison, VA 22727).
