She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alfred Nixon and Nina Hall Nixon; her husband Shirley Russell Estes; her son Stuart Russell Estes; and her siblings, Silas Nixon, Earl Nixon, Robert Nixon, William Nixon, Ethel Alexander, Alice Roberts, Mabel Loeffler, Elizabeth Kidd and Virginia May Nixon.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Denise Estes of Grottoes, Craig N. Estes of Madison, Darrell T. Estes (Valerie) of Madison, Spencer Estes of Haywood and Jay Wayne Estes of Chase City.
