He is survived by: his mother Flora of Washington; his sister Loretta R. of Washington; his foster daughter Samantha Franklin; his nephew Spencer D. of Washington; his grandchildren, Michael Franklin, Jr., D'Andre, Karla Henson, Tristen and Haven Landis; his nephew William Paul of Washington; his uncles, Matt and George Ragland; his aunt Evie Ragland; and his friends, Terry Water, Glen Banks, Jimmy Minor and James R. Bailey.
