He was predeceased by: his parent Betty Pearl Cash Hudson; and his siblings, John Hudson, Jack Hudson, Edward Hudson, Edgar Hudson, Henry Hudson, Dolleen Hudson, Agnes Bailey and Virginia Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Deborah Johnson, David Hudson and Darryl Hudson; his stepchildren, Roberto Sabastiani (Erica) and Elaine Harris Grant (Gerry); his grandchildren, Albert Graves, Melanie Graves Miller and Sara Hudson; his stepgrandchildren, Alex Sabastiani, Emily Sabastiani and Bronson Grant; his great grandchildren, Samara Graves, D. J. Morris, McKenzie Morris, Trafton Graves, Braden Graves and Jeremiah Graves; his siblings, Pete Hudson (Anne), Jimmie Campbell, Corrine Flannery (Larry) and Pauline Newsome; his friend Peyton Thomas; and also, Mary, Scott and Hazel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
