He is survived by: his wife Helen Morris Ogden; his children, Walter E., Ogden, Jr. (Brenda, Gayle Ogden) and Dawn Schmitz; his grandchildren, Todd Richeson, William F. Ogden and Skylar Schmitz; his great grandchildren, Matthew Wells, Shelton Richeson, Jordan Richeson, Caleb Ogden and Bella Ogden; and his siblings, William H. Ogden, Sr., Dorothy Hunt, Thomas K. Ogden, Barbara Dawson, Larry Ogden and Larion Ogden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Community Church, the Monelison Rescue Squad or to the Monelison Fire Department.
