With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violette Gilliam Tomlin (Madison Heights, Virginia), who passed away on November 18, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Blanche and John Wesley Gilliam; her husband Asa Lewis Tomlin; her grandson Eddie Tomlin; and her sisters, Lucille Casey, Loma Gillispie, Edith Ramsey and Iris Rhodes.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Tomlin (Janice), Billy Tomlin (Jane) and Lynn Conner; and her close friends, Ed Wooldridge and Lena Thacker. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
