Though Valarie Shannon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her mother Kathy Litchford; and her fiancé Larry Dean Pillow. She is survived by: her father Terry Coffey, Sr.; her stepmother Sharyn Coffey; her son Matthu Morris; her siblings, Terry Coffey, Jr. (TJ) and Shawna Ranson (Brian); her niece Brooklynn Knight; and her nephew Blayne Rankins. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
