He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Edward and Maggie Daniel Ramsey; and his brothers, Leroy Ramsey and Marvin Ramsey. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lee Ramsey; his sons, Keith Ramsey (Glenda) of Madison Heights, Trevor Ramsey (Brenda) of Madison Heights and Kyle Ramsey (Valerie) of Bedford County; his sister Jewel Crouch of Easton, MD; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jillian, Hannah, Simon and Ethan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Oakdale Baptist Church.
