He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell V. Coleman, Sr. and Ruby Brightwell Coleman; and his siblings, Mary Frances Bryant and John Owen Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Alice Williams Coleman; his children, Russell V. Coleman, III and Ellen C. Owens; his grandchildren, Jen R. Coleman and Joseph W. Coates; and his siblings, Mildred Hammock, Cathleen Stewart, Betty Hudgins (Mike), William Coleman, Sr. (Virginia), Leonard Coleman and Robert Coleman (Patti). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Whitten Monelison Chapel (3966 S Amherst Hwy, Madison Heights, VA 24572). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
