She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Faulkner and Rosa Milo Eller Trent; her sons, Glen Dale Tweedy, Sr. and Bruce Allen Tweedy, Sr.; her great grandchild Zachery W. Robertson; and her siblings, Charles R. Trent, Lee F. Trent, Clayton D. Trent, Myrtis T. Harding, Kathleen T. Tweedy, Glenola Trent and Helen Johnson.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Wayne Tweedy and Robert Edward Tweedy; her daughter-in-law Brenda Tweedy (Bruce); and her sister Jean Childress of Rustburg. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.
