He is survived by: his wife Linda Thomas; his daughter April Lynn Thomas Houston (Jason); his grandchildren, Jessica Caroline Houston, Jimmy Wayne Houston and Thomas Jackson Houston; his sister Susan Ward; his nieces, Erin Ward Johnston (Chris) and Sarah Ward Thorn (Douglas); and his great-niece Freya Johnston.
