He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Sweeney and Velma Sweeney; and his children, Chris Romer and Callie Brown. He is survived by: his children, April Sweeney (Timmy) of Madison Heights, Ronald Sweeney, Jr. of Madison Heights, Tabitha Sweeney of Madison Heights, Jasmine Branham of Madison Heights and Crystal Ford of Madison Heights; his siblings, Dawn Mongold (Chuck) of West Virginia, Robbie Sweeney (Becky) of Maryland and Emily Sweeney of Martinsburg, WV; his aunt Gail (Larry); his uncle Buddy (Cheryl); and his close friend Clyde Coleman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
