He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Jennings Morcom; his parents, Gilbert Bowman Morcom and Grace Hudson Morcom; and his siblings, Houston Morcom, Samuel Morcom, Susie Gallier and Mary Curd.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Duff (Donna) of Elon, O. G. Morcom, Jr. (Diane) of Madison Heights, Brenda Johnson (Willard) of Lynchburg and Rhonda Morcom of Monroe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
