It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Turner (Madison Heights, Virginia), who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Alton T. Turner Sr.; her brother Edward Braxton; her sister-in-law Magnolia Braxton of Madison Heights; and her children, Charlotte Horsley of Lynchburg, Catherine Austin (Marvin) of Concord, Stephen Turner (Twila) of Laurel and Alton Turner Jr. of Lithonia. She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
