Though Mary Katheryn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Katheryn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Stanley Martin; and her brother Tony Martin. She is survived by: her close friend Steve Newton, Sr.; her children, Steve Newton, Jr. (Janet) and Chelsea Newton; her stepdaughter Amy Roark (Christopher); her grandchildren, Skyler Newton, Aaron Sandidge and Serenity Sandidge; her mother Hazel Childrey; and her sisters, Connie Woodroof and Shelby Reed (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
