She was predeceased by: her fathers, John S. Governor, Sr. and Milton Smith Governor; her son John Robert France; and her siblings, John S. Governor, Jr., Ruby Elizabeth Governor, Lewis Governor, Mildred Wade and Virginia Graham.

She is survived by: her husband Wilton Robert "Bobby" France, Jr.; her son Rick France of Forest; and her grandchildren, Nathan Scott (Vitoria) of Richmond, Tyler Jordan (Allison) of Lynchburg and Ryleigh Noelle France of Dade City, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
