She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster Gibson and Frances Gibson; her son Gary Steven Nuckles, Sr.; and her siblings, Warren Gibson, Eddie Gibson, Sr., Clinton Butch Gibson and Brenda Chapman.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Gary Steven Nuckles, Jr. (Sam), Christopher Thomas Nuckles (Hannah), Marcus Allen Nuckles, Steven Ray Nuckles (Nicole), Thomas Lee Nuckles, Corey Nuckles and Shawn Nuckles; her siblings, Wayne Wills (Delores) and Carolyn Faye Mays (Bill); and her daughters-in-law, Rae Rochelle Nuckles and Ragina Nuckles. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
