She was predeceased by: her spouse William Tyree (Dink); her parent Fannie Brooks; her siblings, Thomas Jeff Brooks, Andrew Brooks, Nora Francis, Florence Jones, Unie Perdue, Carrie Almond and Madie Wilson; and her sisters-in-law, Gordon Cunningham, Dot Cunningham, Peyton Tyree and Juanita Tyree.

She is survived by: her sons, Lynwood Tyree (Nancy) of Lynchburg and Donald Tyree of Madison Heights; her grandchildren, Jim Tyree (Vickie), Jan Tyree and Michael Tyree (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Matthew Routon, Nate Routon and Daniel Tyree; and also Anslen Brooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
