With heavy hearts, we announce the death of MacKie McCormick Clapp of Madison Heights, Virginia, who passed away on December 26, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Earl Clapp; her parents, Lewis McCormick and Queenie McCormick (Almond); and her brother Curtis W. McCormick of Lynchburg. She is survived by: her children, Denice D. Clapp and Clinton E. Clapp, MD (Lynn McRoy); and her grandchildren, Adrienne Cruser, Meredith Lavigne (Jesse), Leslie Clapp, Devon Clapp, Nolan Clapp, Annalise Sheppard and Colin Sheppard.
